KOL Inspires Celebrity PDA

Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has a seriously sexy voice – so it only makes sense the biggest celebrity romances of the summer would wind up in the band’s audience for high-profile dates this summer.

Possibly the most noted couple, Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, were seen at a Vancouver show in July – it was the official “coming out” announcement that celebrity rags needed to put Bella Swan and Edward Cullen of the big screen hit together in real life.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, who recently left their spouses after news broke that they fell in love on the set of their new movie, were spotted at the California Kings concert in early September.

Drew Barrymore attended the band’s New York show, where she was spotted making out with Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick (she has since reunited with on again, off again BF Justin Long), and the ‘tween couple Zac Effron and Vanessa Hudgens also appeared, attached at the hip.

Kings on Fire

The Kings of Leon are on top of the world, riding the wave of their popularity all the way to the coveted cover of the April 30, 2009 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. The article gives readers amusing insight to what makes these boys tick (sibling rivalry), and how far they’ve come from their backwoods, “sons of a preacher man” traveling church revival childhood. Definitely a good read.

The article features one of the greatest quotes of all time from the youngest Followill brother, Jared, expressing his views on drug use, namely, “Marijuana is a gateway drug. It leads to sweatpants and Cheetos.” Genius!
